XVI EcoFlor
Faculty of Sciences - University of Granada - March 14th-16th 2019
Welcome to the XVI EcoFlor in Granada
drive.google.com/open?id=1bCzx-FdRck3E85UPTyExx0Y1l6JmVXbkWe are pleased to invite you to the 16th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Group for Floral Ecology (EcoFlor). This year the meeting will take place in the ever beautiful city of Granada from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 of March of 2019. The University of Granada and its Faculty of Sciences allow us the space to hold the meeting in the center of the city.
This year and continuing with the tradition in EcoFlor we will have plenary talk sessions and the classic talks and discussions. However, we have some novelties for this year. We decided to include poster contributions that will be exposed during all the meeting to promote questions and discussion on them. To open EcoFlor to non-Spanish speakers, this year any communication presented must be in English. Probably the relaxed atmosphere will allow some discussions to start in English and end in Spanish and vice versa. The beers will definitely help with this. This year we also want to continue with one of the original ideas of the EcoFLor meetings, picked up last year by the organizers of the EcoFlor in Mallorca, organising a couple of round table discussions on some topics of general interest in order to generate discussions in the audience. In addition, we will also have a couple of workshops for the day before our meeting: one on creativity in science, organised by Isabel Reche and Francisco Perfectti, and another on integral projection models, organized by Maria Paniw and Irene Martín. So, a lot of fun!
The registration for EcoFlor2019 was extended to January 31st.
You can already find the full program and book of abstracts HERE.
